Resurrect Your Own Life with Help from the Afterlife

What is the afterlife, you may be wondering. Merriam-Webster defines it as “an existence after death, a later period in one’s life.” Dictionary.com defines it as “a future life, the later part of a person’s life.” I define it as ‘life after life, from life in the physical form to life in the spirit form’. Some refer to the afterlife as life on the ‘other side’.

Janis Joplin* believes there is no such place as ‘the other side’. How would I know what Janis Joplin believes? I know because she told me so. Yes, Janis contributed her own ‘take’ on success to the many stories included in my book The Spirits Speak on Success. Janis believes there is no such place as ‘the other side’ and goes on to say “the other side is not really the other side – we are very much with you on your side – we are simply in another form – free floating, transparent, energy without matter. We are all one, and we cohabitate together. It is not the other side; it is this side without form.”

Is the afterlife a place or a state of being, or both?

And does it matter what you believe or how you define ‘it’ as it does your connection to ‘it’ and those who dwell about or within that space?

I grew up as a Catholic and was taught the Easter holiday represented the celebration of Jesus rising from the dead. His resurrection, as described in the New Testament of the Bible, occurred on the third day after his burial, after his crucifixion by the Romans. That image of Jesus resurrecting from the dead planted a powerful seed in my young mind. If we are born in the likeness of God, as Jesus was, and Jesus rose from the dead, then by default, I, too, will rise from the dead. And by default, my loved ones will rise or have already risen from the dead. We will all meet again in the afterlife, or on the ‘other side’.

Does this information help you to better understand the depth and breadth of my faith and belief in the power and truth in connecting with those in the afterlife? I have connected and communicated with many of my loved ones, my mother and father to name two, along with friends and strangers and even animals to boot and I know there is more to ‘this’ life than meets the eye. I confide in them daily and am available to help them whenever possible.

It is never too late to resurrect your own life while you live and breathe in the flesh. You, too, can revive your passions, gladden your heart and breathe new life into your day-to-day routine. The blessing and benefit is you do not have to do it alone. Your loved ones in the afterlife are standing by and are ready, willing and able to help.

*Janis Lyn Joplin (January 19, 1943 – October 4, 1970) was an American rock, soul, and blues singer and songwriter, and one of the most successful and widely known female rock stars of her era. After releasing three albums, she died of a heroin overdose at the age of 27. (Wikipedia)
