Beauty Abounds

(I am re-posting a decade old message from my mother, Leah, which I believe bears repeating.)

 

Enjoy yourself, it’s later than you think. Not to be all doom and gloom, but to be realistic.

I always felt as if my life had been swept up by some forceful river and carried along at a pace, I was sometimes comfortable with, other times, not so much. Though on some level I felt I had all the time in the world, there was a secret place within me, shared with no one, where I felt I had to enjoy every single minute – now – because it was later than I thought.

It has been thirty-one years since I transitioned into spirit, non-form, pure energy, not housed nor constricted by physical form. I am remembering my days in form as if they were just yesterday. There isn’t any measure of time now. No sense of urgency nor thought to ‘enjoy now, it’s later than you think’ – because we do not give much thought to that – ‘time’, that is. “We have all the time in the world” which means we have no time at all because we are ‘other worldly’. However, we do have the capability to dwell within the world; so therefore, we too, have all the time in the world. Read More

(If Only) In My Dreams

Our ancestors and loved ones in spirit enjoy the festivities and the warm and loving feelings which are amplified during this season of peace, love and joy. They take great pleasure in sitting by the fireside, keeping company with their loved ones and rejoicing in the simple pleasures of family, togetherness and happiness.

Not Everyone Believes

Not everyone believes – and I appreciate that.

Since I sit in service of spirit, I strive to be as available and deliberate as humanly possible. When I am contacted, typically ‘out of the blue’ by someone in spirit, I sit up and take notice, it is difficult not to. All that is required of me is to connect, listen and receive.

I do not know how this works, yet I know it does, those in spirit have seen to it and have proven it time and time again. They connect with me and, at the same time, they connect with their loved one on the earth plane to urge them to reach out to me. New clients may call me in wonderment, not sure why they are calling, but feeling as if they must connect with me. It is within that moment that I know I have a message for him or her.

Spirit’s ability to reach out and connect is astounding and never ceases to amaze me. Read More

Hope Springs Eternal

Hope springs eternal in the human breast;

Man never is, but always to be blessed:

The soul, uneasy and confined from home,

Rests and expatiates in a life to come.*

We are an optimistic lot by nature. We tend to hold on to our hope, though in some sobering situations, it may appear ‘things’ can’t possibly turn out the way we wish they would.

You Are Your Ancestors

You are your ancestors. You do what you do, say what you say, and make the choices you make because part and parcel, you are living the lives of those who have gone before you. Heck, they may even still be with you.

How many of you have heard yourself say “Oh my God, I sound just like my mother, or I sound just like my father!” (who may be living or deceased)? Chances are you do, because you are. You are your mother, you are your father. Aside from their blood running through your veins, their DNA is intricately intertwined with yours. Studies have proven that emotions, thoughts and behaviors are passed down through the generations.
