The Heart Wants What The Heart Wants

You may have heard me say “we take ourselves with us”, over and over again. I mean that on so many levels. We take our unresolved issues, unexpressed thoughts, and even our broken hearts with us when we die. As far as I am concerned this is wonderful!

Why? Because it proves we are still accessible, vulnerable and available for conversation when in spirit. I have the pleasure of bearing witness to this phenomenon each and every day. Because as long as those in spirit, our dearly departed, ancestors and friends, are accessible and available – connection, communication, and conciliation is possible. And therein lies the blessing. Intend to Connect

A new year typically inspires new resolutions. As you turn the calendar page you find yourself resolute once again. Your mind races with the thought of achieving unlimited possibilities. For many, the beginning of a new year goes hand-in-hand with clearing the slate as boundless opportunities stretch out in front of you.

You resolve to begin anew; to pay more attention to how you fuel and care for your fabulous body, or maybe you will find a new job this year, or perhaps give up an old (less than desirable) habit. Whatever you decide, you absolutely decide to pay more attention and focus on achieving your goals.

The beauty in it is that you possess the power to put your resolutions into action. How fabulous is that? You are in complete control. To quote Henry Ford: “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t – you’re right.” Read More

The Eve Matters Not

“The ‘thinning of the veil’ refers to the idea that the boundary between the physical and spirit worlds is weakest around the time of Samhain, also known as Halloween, making it easier for spirits and otherworldly beings to cross over. This is a concept from ancient Celtic beliefs, and a similar idea is found in various spiritual and religious traditions. This time is considered by some to be an opportune moment for reflection and connection with ancestors and the spiritual realm.”

In this case my spirit collective has chosen to address their connection relative to All Soul’s Eve, the evening before October 31st and has taken the time to clarify a thing or two: Read More

Lament- Winter 1972

In these present times, where our heads are now found,
We’re watching our men, cutting all our trees down.

They’re doing a number, on poor nature’s head,
and one day we’ll wake up, to find nature dead.

Disappearing from view! – Mother Nature’s front yard,
Just thinking about it, I find it quite hard…

To fully accept our great progress path.
I come to a standstill, and give out a laugh. Read More

Fear Is a Choice

Divisiveness, disagreements, name calling, finger pointing all have something in common.

Toxic and unhealthy behaviors are ramping up day by day and have become epidemic in our society, igniting and fueling the spread of fear. The greater the degree of such unhealthy behavior, the greater the yearning for commonality – connection.

As a people, we have become terribly divided. We are suffering so dearly from this division that we have resorted to creating a connection any way we can, whether we are aware of it or not.

You see, humans are a social species and we thrive on connection. Some of our best ideas, products, services, brainstorms are birthed through our connections. Read More

Wisdom of the Ages

There are so many lessons to be learned from the spirit realm. Lessons we were either unable to ‘take in’ when our parents attempted to teach us many moons ago – or lessons we were not ready to learn when our grandparents walked this earth plane wishing to share their experience and advice.

It is however, refreshing to know it is never too late to learn and yes, my dear, it is never too late to gain wisdom and guidance from those who went before us.

During a recent session my client’s mother, in spirit, comforted her daughter by apologizing for dismissing her dream – the dream her daughter had as a child, of changing the world through a heartfelt humanitarian act. Her mother explained she was not equipped, nor did she have the means to put that dream into motion, and so it was dismissed. Plain and simple. Case closed. Good news is my client never dismissed her dream, though she did bury it deep within. Read More

It May Just be Time

“What goes around comes around.” A double-edged sword or a beautifully wrapped gift?

When you hear that expression, what thoughts run through your mind?

I am often reminded of how those who have gone before me have set the stage. I carry on in the likeness of my parents, grandparents, great grandparents and so on. Doesn’t it only make sense – if their blood runs through my veins, that I would have inherited their beliefs?

My past influences my future. Who I am influences who I will become.

What if who I am is not in alignment with the present – the here and now?
